Connect Jobber
3 min read · Updated May 2026
If you use Jobber, connecting it unlocks every feature Plumbify offers. The AI starts recognizing repeat customers by name, captured leads land in your Jobber Requests inbox automatically, draft Quotes get created when callers ask to book, and review SMS fires the moment you mark a job complete.
You don't need Jobber to use Plumbify — but if you have it, you should connect it.
Don't use Jobber? Plumbify still works without it — the AI receptionist captures calls and you can manage leads from the Plumbify dashboard. HouseCallPro and Workiz integrations are on the roadmap for late 2026. Email us if you want priority on a specific one.
How to connect
- Log into your Plumbify dashboard.
- Click Settings → Integrations in the left sidebar.
- Find the Jobber card and click Connect.
- You'll be redirected to Jobber's login page. Sign in with your normal Jobber account.
- Jobber will show you the list of permissions Plumbify is requesting. Review them (see below), then click Allow Access.
- You'll be redirected back to Plumbify with a "Connected" green tick.
That's it. Within a minute, your dashboard will start showing recent Jobber activity (jobs, requests, quotes) inline.
What each permission does
Plumbify requests the smallest possible set of permissions. Here's exactly what each one is used for:
Recognize returning callers
Lets the AI look up the caller's phone number against your Jobber client list. When there's a match, it greets them by name and references their address.
Add new callers as clients
When a brand-new caller leads with an issue, Plumbify creates them as a Jobber client so the lead is in your CRM immediately.
Create Jobber Requests from AI leads
Every captured lead becomes a Request in your Jobber inbox with the issue, urgency, and address — ready for you to schedule.
Draft Quotes on booking intent
If the caller wants to book a specific time, Plumbify creates a draft Quote in Jobber so you can confirm pricing and send it. Also lets the quote-follow-up automation skip nudges for quotes you've already approved.
Trigger review SMS on completion
When you mark a job complete in Jobber, Plumbify sees that change within 60 seconds and sends the review-request text to the customer.
Plumbify never modifies Jobs. We only read job status to know when to fire the review text. Anything you don't see in the list above, we can't touch.
Disconnecting
If you ever want to revoke access, you can disconnect from either side:
- From Plumbify: Settings → Integrations → Jobber → Disconnect
- From Jobber: Settings → Apps → Plumbify → Remove
Disconnecting stops all Jobber-related automations (lead routing, review triggers, quote follow-ups) but doesn't delete any data on either side.
Why does Jobber sometimes ask me to reconnect?
Jobber tokens last up to 60 days. Plumbify refreshes them automatically in the background, but if you change your Jobber password, revoke the app, or hit an authorization edge case, you'll see a "Reconnect Jobber" banner on your dashboard and an email reminder.
Click reconnect, sign in, approve. Takes 20 seconds. Until you reconnect, Plumbify continues working — it just can't sync new leads or fire reviews into Jobber.
Added new features recently? If we add a Jobber feature that needs a new permission (like quote drafting), your existing connection won't automatically pick it up. You'll see a one-time "Reconnect to enable [feature]" prompt — that's normal and expected.
